Interior Decorating After a Build in Bookham
Abinger Construction Ltd, a Dorking building company specialising in bathrooms, wetrooms and home renovations, covers interior decorating in Bookham and the wider Surrey area. Decorating is part of the service, so a room can be finished under one roof once the tiling and tanking are complete.
Can the finishing and decorating be done by the same Bookham team?
Abinger Construction Ltd also decorates, so a room can be finished under one roof once the tiling and tanking are done. You get a completed room rather than a shell awaiting a painter.
It removes the gap between builders leaving and decorators arriving. Whoever prepared the surfaces is best placed to finish them.
What is the best time to renovate a bathroom?
When products can be chosen and ordered before the build starts, and at a point in the year when the household can manage with one bathroom out of use. Lead times on tiles and brassware often decide the real start date. Homes with a second bathroom or a downstairs WC can start whenever the products are ready.
When should you choose tiles and fittings?
Make the important product and finish decisions before the relevant stage begins. Lead times vary widely across tiles, brassware, flooring and lighting, so late choices can stall a build that is otherwise read more on track.
Selecting finishes as a set gives a calmer, more unified result. Abinger Construction Ltd can work straight from the agreed plans and product list and coordinate the installation around them.
Who do you actually speak to during a renovation?
Abinger Construction Ltd puts a dedicated project manager on each project it runs, acting as your one point of contact until the last walkthrough. Subcontractors, inspections and deliveries are coordinated by that one person.
Renovations tend to go wrong in the gaps between trades rather than inside any one of them. With a single named manager there is nobody to chase and no question of whose job a problem is. You can text or phone that contact whenever you need to.
